Sticking out in Australia

Australia is one of the Lattix countries where there is no let-up in the action. Lattix products were well represented last week at the Local Government Expo.

The photos on this page are from the exposition. Lattix Manager, Peter Hawthorne of ASP Group Pty, displayed, among other things, a car that had previously been used in testing Lattix products in Melbourne. The vehicle had been cut in half for the occasion - a smart move as it attracted plenty of attention.

Huge potential

Australia, where Lattix has been systematically marketed for years, has an extensive public roads system. The potential for Lattix sales on this enormous continent is huge. Peter Hawthorne has great expectations in the state of New South Wales, which has now authorised the use of Lattix.

Slip base restrictions

Queensland is in the process of passing restrictions on the use of steel masts and slip bases. This creates an opening for "real" passively safe masts like Lattix. Pliable and lightweight aluminium masts greatly reduce the hazard of crashes when compared to conventional, heavy masts that feature various breakaway solutions.
