The environment and recycling

Aluminium can be recycled in a very energy efficient way. Today's portals and masts contain a high percentage of recycled aluminium. In the future, these masts and portals can be recycled several times and then reused in many new products.

Aluminium retains all of its material integrity when recycled. Recycled aluminium can therefore be easily used for sensitive instruments or stress-critical structural elements, such as soda cans and packaging.

Low weight together with easy installation also makes for many environmental benefits: ease of transportation to the construction location reduces the 'ecological footprint' for each installation. The ability to rapidly assemble each portal helps to avoid long traffic queues and the resulting pollution.
