As a total provider of traffic control systems, we can deliver custom engineered solutions that meet any demand. Mast properties
Lattix support masts are light and pliable, but at the same time durable and recyclable. The Lattix mast can be used to support all equipment that needs to be placed at a roadside, whether it be signs, VMS, lane control systems, surveillance cameras, signal lights or street lighting.
Crash safe electrical connections
Lattix solutions are equipped with a patented, revolutionary electrical connections solution. The Lattix Safety Plug and Socket consists of a built-in, rip-away, waterproof and non-sparking electrical outlet within the footplate. Upon collision, the electric plug wil be cleanly yanked out of the socket in the footplate, which remains undamaged. After the collision, the footplate and socket may be re-used, making repairs and replacement a straight-forward and inexpencive affair.
Spark free
The system is waterproof, so that short circuits and sparks are avoided. Nor does the power cable rupture at the ground level, as it can in many present systems. As the combination of electric sparks and fuel spills does lead to disaster following some accidents, we strongly feel that the spark-free, snap off plug and socket solution is the only responsible choice in any roadside structure bearing electrical equipment.
Testing and documentation
All Lattix masts are full-scale safety tested in conformity with EN 12767 and tested for strength in accordance with EN 12899-1. We are the only manufacturer in the trade that crash tests and strength tests each and every type and dimension of mast sold, and we do not limit testing to the product group level.
The green metal
Our masts are manufactured from aluminium, a material that is sustainable and can be recycled over and over again with minimal energy use. This is why we call aluminium a green metal.
