Tests the most
In 1997 Juralco AS initiated the establishment of Norway’s first testing track for traffic masts. The track at Lista, on the southern tip of the country, was later accredited as the test track NTC (Nordic Test Center).
The costs were split in an official research and
development project together with the Agder University and the
Norwegian Public Roads Administration. Since then, Juralco has carried
out between 30 - 40 car tests, as well as 10 - 20 tests at the VTI
track in Sweden and TRL track in London.
All Lattix-masts are full-scale safety-tested in accordance with EN 12767 and strength-tested in concurrence with EN 12899-1.
No
other manufacturer in the business has strength- and collision-tested
every type of mast and dimension in its product line, rather than
relying on a “family approval”, i.e., simply testing the largest mast
